Robert Ferguson Primary School

Sophie and I were assigned to the "Robert Ferguson Primary School" which was ca. 20 minutes from our B&B.
We really liked the school and its teaching methods.
The school was very historical, the colleagues super friendly and the students was very interested, polite and soooo sweet!!!
We had many opportunities to speak English, because we've been involved in the lessons a lot more than we expected.
We helped in group work, reading, were allowed to do corrections in tests and made a presentation of "Flensburg" and "Germany" in general, in front of the class.
We was so impressed what a big difference there is between the British school systeme and the German school systeme:
- The realation between teacher and student was very personal and kind.
   With us in Germany the realation is quite stricter and superficial.
- This primary school started at ca. 9am in the morning and ended at ca. 15pm in the afternoon. 
- The students have got the same teacher everyday and THE WHOLE DAY.
  --> There is always a second assistant teacher in the lesson. 
- Every child gets a special support if it gots deficits.
- etc.
At last we were really grateful that we had the opportunity to do our work placement at Robert Ferguson School and we just recommend this placement.
